Fiona Stevens is a Mental Health Social Worker.

Fiona has been working in the field of human services for the past 25 years and  brings a great deal of expertise in working with a wide range of people in varying situations. 

Her main experience has been working as a Counsellor in the field of substance use with both adults and young people.

Fiona believes in the importance of developing safety and working from a strength based and holistic approach. 

In most recent years, Fiona has trained in trauma sensitive yoga and incorporates a trauma informed practice in her work with clients.


Fiona works with adults in the areas of:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Trauma
  • Complex Trauma
  • Substance Dependence
  • Supervision
  • General worry and concern

Please note that Fiona does not work with the following issues:

  • Children and Families
  • Relationships
  • Eating Disorders
  • Current suicidality


Fiona works with adolescents (14+) and adults.


Fiona works from a client-centered model, and draws on the following treatment modalities:

  • Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy
  • Trauma Sensitive Yoga
  • Mindfulness
  • Relaxation Strategies
  • Stress Management


Fiona has a Masters of Social Work and over 25 years of experience in the field.


$150 per 50 minute session (private).

$60.65 out of pocket per 50 minute session (with a Medicare rebate).

Medicare rebate = $89.35 for up to 20 session in a calendar year.
