Clinical Registrar MAPS

Alycia Papantoniou is a Registered Psychologist.

Alycia has always believed in appreciating and respecting the unique qualities of each client, and her work deeply reflects this.

She has worked in a variety of clinical contexts with clients across the life span, including schools, hospitals and private practice settings, consistently collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic services to her clients.

Over the years, Alycia has developed a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health issues, and throughout the course of her working life she has become increasingly passionate about assisting adults through the many adjustments they experience.

Alycia has found the challenges faced by individuals in mid to later life to be a captivating and rewarding area of practice.

Alycia draws on a range of evidence based approaches, while acknowledging that therapy is a highly individualised process, requiring collaboration, trust and encouragement.  She tailors her interventions in a way that reflects this.
